I built two successful start-ups inside a family-owned, publicly traded company in a career marked by leading through ambiguity and taking on unprecedented roles.  These were first-of-their kind businesses in the industry, not just the company.  Six of my 10 roles with Scripps were new to the org chart.

As an executive in the media business, I was responsible for more than 2000 employees and over $600 million in annual revenue for TVNewsCheck's "Station Group of the Year".  Earlier in my career as a journalist and then a digital executive, I was honored with two regional Emmy awards and five regional Edward R. Murrow Awards.
